After graduating from the Norwich School of Art and Design with a degree in illustration, I set a studio up in London. I worked mainly as an editorial illustrator and spent 20 years freelancing for advertising agencies. Projects ranged from animation to creating murals for Swatch at Harrods and Heathrow Airport.

In 2016 I took some time out and spent 4 months in New Zealand to re evaluate my career. I decided to go back to what I loved and became a full time artist.

I am passionate about the natural world for which its dynamic spirit provides me an endless source of inspiration. I aim to convey this in my work by letting the brush strokes transfer energy and life into the subjects of my paintings.
